Job summary

Income Research + Management, a Boston-based investment firm, is seeking a Staff Accountant in Finance (Accounts Payable). The role supports expense reimbursements, card administration, and month-end close.

You will collaborate with the Controller and Finance team to strengthen controls and drive process improvements. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and 1–3 years of accounting/finance experience, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 1-3 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Excel and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support expense reimbursements and corporate card administration.
• Assist with month-end close and journal entries.
• Maintain AP processes and vendor management.
• Support external audits and compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and automate tasks.
