G2 Capital Advisors is a Boston-based investment bank and financial advisory firm, operating in a hybrid model with four in-office days. The role reports to the Controller within a four-person finance team and involves leading month-end close, payroll, client invoicing, and financial reporting for leadership and auditors.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with QuickBooks Online, Harvest, and Concur.

Qualificações

• Must have 4+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong Excel and data manipulation skills (pivot tables).
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of QuickBooks Online; experience with Harvest/Concur.
• Experience with BI/reporting software and AI tools.
• Strong math, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Lead month-end close processes, journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Oversee staff accountant activities: invoicing, AR/AP, P&L prep.
• Reconcile client project files and research discrepancies.
• Process payroll and contractor payments, including 401k and benefits.
• Prepare financial reporting for executives and audits; support year-end review.
