Jobot is seeking a Controller for a real estate investment platform in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. The role focuses on accounting operations, cash management, and investor funding administration across multiple entities, with a hybrid work model and competitive base salary.

The ideal candidate is CPA-preferred, detail-oriented, and capable of managing complex multi-entity structures while implementing scalable processes to support growth and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• CPA preferred, or CPA-track with controller-level experience.
• Experience managing accounting across multiple entities or investment structures.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with multiple bank accounts and financial systems.
• High attention to detail and strong discretion with sensitive financial information.

Responsabilités

• Lead cash management and maintain a consolidated cash dashboard across entities.
• Oversee investor funding intake and documentation of capital activity.
• Supervise disbursements and payables controls including approvals and GL coding.
• Track and reconcile fee arrangements and ensure accruals align with governing agreements.
• Manage monthly close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting across entities.
• Coordinate with CPAs, tax advisors, lenders, and investors as needed.
