Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring a Manager, Control Tower Operations at our Omaha, NE presort facility. This hybrid role has a strong preference for Omaha residents, with travel allowed for others.

Base salary ranges from $80,000 to $95,000 annually plus a 10% field bonus, and no fixed vacation allotment. The role leads a team of Control Tower Specialists and Transportation Coordinators, sets priorities, and partners with corporate teams on network optimization and new client implementations.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations with at least 2 years in people leadership.
• Experience leading centralized, fast-paced real-time operations.
• Proficiency with TMS and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bachelor’s degree in business or logistics preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Develop the Control Tower Team: provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and performance management.
• Set Operational Direction: establish priorities and expectations for dispatch, track and trace, and communication.
• Own Carrier Performance & Accountability: primary point of accountability for carrier performance.
