Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring for a Manager, Control Tower Operations at our Omaha, NE presort facility. The role is hybrid, with a strong preference for Omaha-area candidates and travel flexibility for others.

The base salary range is $80,000-95,000 annually plus a 10% field bonus, with no fixed vacation allotment. You will lead a team of Control Tower Specialists and Transportation Coordinators, directing daily operations while fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and service excellence

Qualifications

• At least five (5) years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Minimum of two (2) years in a people leadership role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in centralized, fast-paced, real-time operations.
• Proven experience managing carrier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Develop the Control Tower Team: provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and performance management.
• Set Operational Direction: establish priorities, workflows, and expectations for high-quality execution.
• Own Carrier Performance & Accountability: primary point for carrier performance and corrective actions.
• Represent the Control Tower in Corporate Initiatives: partner on network optimization and new client implementations.
• Drive Service Level Achievement: monitor metrics and present data-driven performance narratives.
• Manage Cross-Functional Relationships: maintain relations with Presort Sites and Corporate Transportation.
• Monitor & Report on Team Performance: deliver KPI reporting and actionable insights.
• Champion Continuous Improvement: lead process changes and measure outcomes.
