Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring a Manager, Control Tower Operations in Omaha, NE. Hybrid role with travel to Omaha as needed. Base salary range is $80,000-95,000 annually plus a 10% field bonus. Vacation is flexible with no set annual allotment.

You will lead a team of Control Tower Specialists and Transportation Coordinators, drive performance, and partner with corporate transportation on strategic initiatives while ensuring service excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations with 2+ years in people leadership.
• Experience leading centralized, fast-paced real-time operations.
• Experience managing carrier relationships and holding partners accountable to service commitments.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on strategic transportation initiatives and translate strategy into team execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Control Tower Team with day-to-day leadership, coaching, and performance management.
• Set operational direction with clear priorities, workflows, and performance expectations.
• Own carrier performance and accountability, conducting regular reviews and driving compliance.
• Represent the Control Tower in corporate initiatives, collaborating on network optimization and new client implementations.
• Monitor and report KPIs, provide data-driven narratives to drive improvements.
• Manage cross-functional relationships with Presort sites and corporate transportation.
• Provide regular performance reporting on team KPIs and escalation trends.
• Champion continuous improvement and establish process changes across the team.
• Ensure TMS and process compliance and address gaps with corrective actions.
