Job summary

Pitney Bowes is seeking a Manager, Control Tower Operations to lead the Control Tower team at our Omaha presort site. You will set priorities, drive high-quality execution, and partner with cross-functional teams to optimize transportation operations.

The role requires 5+ years in transportation or logistics with people leadership, strong TMS experience (Blue Yonder or MercuryGate), and a track record of improving service levels. Hybrid schedule with travel to Omaha and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

Lead a team of Control Tower Specialists and Transportation Coordinators.
Ability to translate strategy into team execution.
Experience partnering with cross-functional or corporate teams on strategic transportation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operations for the Control Tower team and drive a high-performance culture.
Set priorities and workflows for dispatch, tracking, site communications, and exception management.
Own carrier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure contract compliance.
Represent the Control Tower in corporate initiatives and partner on strategic projects.
Monitor KPIs and deliver data-driven performance narratives to leadership.
Manage cross-functional relationships with presort sites and corporate transportation.
Champion continuous improvement and ensure TMS data accuracy and process compliance.
Support workforce planning and HR partnerships for staffing.
