Job summary

Edelman is seeking a Contracts Analyst to join the Contracts team within Edelman’s Finance group. This role supports drafting and reviewing NDAs, SOWs, vendor agreements, and other commercial contracts for clients in the United States and Canada.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of relevant contract experience, strong attention to detail, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid, Pacific Time-based position.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience drafting, reviewing, or administering commercial contracts including NDAs, SOWs, vendor agreements.
• MSA experience preferred but not required.
• Experience in PR/marketing/advertising or related professional services is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; J.D. is a plus but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise, and support the negotiation of NDAs, SOWs, vendor agreements, and other commercial contracts.
• Review financial and commercial terms in client and vendor agreements, identifying issues and coordinating resolution.
• Review all terms of NDAs and SOWs per standards and guidelines.
• Identify terms needing escalation and coordinate with Finance, Legal, and stakeholders.
• Support review of MSAs and other contract types based on needs.
• Partner with internal teams to facilitate contracting in a timely, practical manner.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure contracts move through approval processes.
• Develop understanding of Edelman’s contracting standards, policies, and risk considerations.
