Job summary

Edelman is seeking an entry‑level Contracts Analyst to join the Contracts team within the Finance group. The role supports drafting and reviewing NDAs, SOWs, and vendor agreements for US and Canada clients. Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn are essential in a fast‑paced environment.

The position is hybrid and based in an Edelman office, with availability during Pacific Time business hours. A Bachelor’s degree is required; JD is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of drafting/reviewing commercial contracts including NDAs, SOWs, vendor agreements
• Experience with MSAs and other contract types preferred but not required
• Experience in PR, marketing, advertising, or related professional services industries is a plus

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise, and support negotiation of NDAs, SOWs, vendor agreements, and other contracts
• Review terms in client and vendor agreements and escalate issues with internal/external stakeholders
• Ensure NDAs and SOWs comply with company standards and guidelines
• Identify terms needing escalation and coordinate with Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders
• Support review of Master Services Agreements based on experience and business needs
• Partner with internal teams to facilitate contracting within timelines
• Maintain accurate records and move contracts through review and approval processes
• Develop understanding of Edelman’s contracting standards and risk considerations
