Job summary

Edelman seeks a Contracts Analyst to join the Contracts team within Edelman's Finance group. This role focuses on drafting and reviewing NDAs, SOWs, vendor agreements, and other contracts across the business for US and Canada clients.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of contracts experience and a proactive, detail-oriented approach. The role supports a hybrid working model and requires coordination with Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders to ensure timely contracting and strong

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience drafting, reviewing, or administering commercial contracts including NDAs, SOWs, vendor agreements, and/or similar business agreements.
• Experience with Master Services Agreements and additional commercial contract types is preferred but not required.
• Experience in the public relations, marketing, advertising, or related professional services industries is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience. J.D. is a plus but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple agreements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative and service-oriented approach to working with internal stakeholders.
• Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in continuing to learn and develop contract-review and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise, and support the negotiation of NDAs, SOWs, vendor agreements, and other commercial contracts.
• Review financial and commercial terms in client and vendor agreements, identifying potential issues and resolving them with internal and external stakeholders.
• Review all terms and conditions of NDAs and SOWs in line with company standards and guidelines.
• Identify contractual terms requiring escalation and coordinate with Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders as appropriate.
• Support the review of Master Services Agreements and other contract types based on experience and business needs.
• Partner with internal teams to understand business objectives and facilitate the contracting process in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records and help ensure contracts move efficiently through review and approval.
• Develop a strong understanding of Edelman's contracting standards, policies, and risk considerations.
