Job summary

Edelman is seeking a Contracts Analyst to join the Contracts team within the Finance group. This hybrid role supports drafting and reviewing NDAs, SOWs, vendor agreements, and other contracts across clients in the US and Canada.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in contracts, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative approach. This hybrid position requires working Pacific Time business hours and is based in an Edelman office.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years drafting, reviewing, or administering commercial contracts incl. NDAs, SOWs, vendor agreements.
• MSAs and other contract types preferred but not required.
• Experience in PR/marketing/ads or related professional services industries preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; J.D. is a plus but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple agreements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative and service-oriented with internal stakeholders.
• Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn contract-review skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise, and support negotiation of NDAs, SOWs, vendor agreements, and other contracts.
• Review financial and commercial terms in client and vendor agreements; identify issues and resolve them with stakeholders.
• Review all terms and conditions of NDAs and SOWs per standards.
• Identify terms needing escalation and coordinate with Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders.
• Support review of MSAs and other contract types based on business needs.
• Partner with internal teams to understand objectives and facilitate contracting in a timely, practical manner.
• Maintain records and help ensure contracts move through review and approval.
• Develop understanding of Edelman's contracting standards, policies, and risk considerations.
