Job summary

Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Contract Recruiter for a mission-driven nonprofit organization serving its local community. This is a 3-month temporary opportunity, hybrid in Boston, MA with onsite work required Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The Contract Recruiter will own full-cycle recruitment across multiple professional-level searches, partner with hiring managers, source and screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and maintain strong candidate pipelines in a

Qualifications

• Experience managing end-to-end recruitment for professional roles (exempt level).
• Experience recruiting for professional-services/nonprofit functions.
• Ability to independently manage multiple active searches.
• Strong sourcing and candidate relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruitment for multiple searches from sourcing to onboarding.
• Take ownership of 4–5 active searches and build pipelines.
• Recruit across diverse functions including research, HR, development, finance, IT, operations, and programs.
• Partner with hiring managers to translate requirements into sourcing strategies.
• Source, screen, engage, and manage candidates with strong communication.
• Maintain accurate recruiting activity in the ATS and leverage AI tools to improve processes.
