Job summary

Boston Beer Co. is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Co-op to join our Supply Chain team.

You will support material planning, inventory management, and supplier coordination to ensure materials are available for production and customer demand. This 6-month program runs Jan 4, 2027 through Jun 25, 2027 with a hybrid schedule: three days per week at the Boston Seaport Corporate Office and remaining days remote.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Must continue to be enrolled in school after the completion of their co-op.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support ingredient ordering and monitoring activities to help ensure material availability.
• Support component ordering and monitoring processes for co-manufacturing operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify potential risks or shortages.
• Assist with maintaining accurate material planning data and inventory records.
• Validate system and report data between third-party planning platforms and internal BBC systems.
• Support reporting activities and analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.
• Assist with maintaining reporting accuracy and data integrity across planning systems.
• Partner with Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Customer Service, and third-party manufacturing partners to support planning activities.
• Participate in planning discussions and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
