Medical Mutual in Ohio is seeking a Continuous Improvement Professional to lead projects that improve quality, reduce costs, and increase productivity. The role emphasizes metrics, strategy, and mentoring colleagues in continuous improvement methodologies.

Hybrid work requires three on-site days weekly at our Brooklyn, OH office, with a 50-mile radius preference. You will partner with business managers to develop process metrics, drive performance enhancements, and deliver accredited training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, analytics, operations management, or related field.
• 3-7+ years of proven continuous improvement experience from a similar role, including project management and business analysis.
• 3-5 years of experience in the health insurance field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads continuous improvement projects in a functional area, which enable the attainment of key strategic objectives to improve quality, reduce cost, and increase productivity.
• Leads the development of process metrics and continuous improvement strategy and methodology.
• Works closely with business managers to develop and implement process metrics.
• Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement within business area and builds stakeholder network to accomplish their implementation.
• Mentors colleagues in the usage of Continuous Improvement framework and tools.
• Supports the delivery of accredited continuous improvement training to colleagues from other business areas.
• Completes post-implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved and to ensure that improvements can be made for future projects.
• Participates in special projects as requested by management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
