Medical Mutual is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a hybrid role based in Brooklyn, OH. The position supports the interface between business and IT, shaping requirements and leading small-scale projects through the lifecycle.

You will collaborate with IT to develop business cases, perform project estimates, and guide testing, implementation, and training phases. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of BSA experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
• 1 year of experience in project management.
• Advanced understanding of system design concepts.
• Advanced understanding of the systems development life cycle.
• Working knowledge of project management practices.

Responsabilités

• Captures business needs and shapes requirements through dialogue with business partners and IT. Leads the development of the business case and project estimates for the proposed solution.
• Researches alternative solutions, develops documentation of solutions and verifies against user requirements. Obtains approval on requirements.
• Leads the testing, implementation, and training phases of systems projects.
• Coordinates design reviews and walkthroughs to communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions.
• Provides project management leadership and coordination as needed.
• Engages in continuous education and staff development
• Performs other duties as assigned.
