Job summary

Community Services Consortium is seeking a Communications Assistant to support the implementation of communications strategies and duties developed by the Communications team. You will contribute to internal newsletters, social media content, and publication projects while upholding brand standards and customer service.

Hybrid role based in Corvallis, OR, working with a team to engage external stakeholders, write and edit materials, and help with analytics and planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or related field preferred.
• Experience creating newsletters, reports, and news releases or equivalent.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Google Workspace, Canva or similar design tools, and social media platforms.

Responsibilities

• Produce and distribute content per plan and calendar across internal newsletters, promotional materials, social posts, and publications.
• Assist content plan and calendar development with Communications Coordinator; support under Communications Manager.
• Operate within the Communications policy; provide internal support; ensure brand compliance; assist with other duties as assigned.
• Participate in internal workgroups and cross-department collaboration to advance agency mission and values.
• Engage with stakeholders to promote respectful, effective communication and customer service.
