Job summary

Child Care Resource Center is seeking a Communications Specialist to coordinate agency-wide communications for its service area. You will develop and distribute press releases, newsletters, fact sheets, brochures, and digital campaigns across web and social media.

The role requires collaboration with the Communications team, cross-department staff, and external partners to support agency priorities and events. The position offers a full-time, hybrid work arrangement with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Associates’ Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Media or related field.
• 2+ years professional experience in communications, public relations or related field with a history of content generation.
• Demonstrated computer skills including online research, website analytics and social media, advanced MS Office, and database management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communications for CCRC’s service area under Communications Supervisor.
• Develop and distribute press releases, newsletters, fact sheets, brochures, campaigns for web and social media.
• Collaborate with Communications team, staff across departments and external partners on priorities, projects and events.
