Job summary

Together Credit Union seeks a contact center agent to assist members across savings and lending functions while pursuing referrals and sales goals. You will handle online access, bill payment, mobile access, deposits, and more, ensuring secure and efficient service.

Hybrid work arrangement begins after a 90-day training period, with hours Monday–Friday 8:00 am–6:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am–1:00 pm. Two+ years of relevant experience preferred; high school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to credit union compliance protocols, answer incoming calls, identify caller needs, and minimize caller time and effort.
• Identify referral options to locate new or existing members for loans and meet sales goals.
• Perform teller functions: transfer funds, stop payments, manage debit cards, provide balances, reissues, and reset PINs; address member needs politely.
• Educate members on products and services by demonstrating knowledge of features and benefits.
• Open and maintain member accounts, deposits, and service-related accounts.
• Cross-sell virtual branch and bill pay services; assist with enrollment and e-statement process.
• Support other departments and branches; assist collections and branch managers with transactions and merchant verifications.
• Assist members and staff with cardholder inquiries or problems.
• Authenticate members with out-of-wallet security questions before transactions.
• Promote positive member relationships and prioritize service delivery; ensure compliance with laws to prevent fraud and loss.
