Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Boston is seeking an entry-level SourceBlue procurement associate to support equipment and product procurement, coordinate with the SourceBlue team on project needs, and enter procurement data accurately.

The role includes reviewing procurement packages, tracking issues, assisting with bid responses, project submittals, and vendor prequalification, plus aiding closeout documentation across construction projects.

Qualifications

• In pursuit of college or university degree (Associate’s or Bachelor’s) or minimum of 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Supply Chain experience and/or internship/co-op experience in construction industry preferred.
• General knowledge of Supply Chain operations and construction products (e.g., Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical) desired.
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to document and manage accurate and timely information.

Responsibilities

• Assist with reviews of equipment and procurement packages for compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Track and document product related issues from clients, Owner's Representatives, designers, consultants, General Contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors and elevate to appropriate supervisor.
• Assist with preparation of scope of work documents, coordinate matrices, and bid response forms for vendor bid packages.
• Assist with reviews of project submittals and shop drawings to provide misaligned findings to contract specifications.
• Visit project sites to observe quality and placement of products.
• Visit manufacturers' factories to observe Factory Witness Tests and learn about product development and specifications.
