Job summary

SourceBlue, a Turner Construction Company subsidiary, seeks a seasoned estimator with strong cross-functional collaboration for major projects. The role emphasizes reviewing drawings and specifications, coordinating bids, and managing procurement schedules with vendors and trades.

You will develop client relationships, evaluate subcontractor proposals, and drive cost control through value engineering and diligently prepared variance reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of building construction experience or equivalent combination.
• Thorough understanding of drawings, specs, contracts, and construction methods.
• Ability to develop client relationships and identify sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage processes to review drawings, specs, and other documents.
• Coordinate bid packages to vendors and assess bids against requirements.
• Develop procurement schedules and analyze subcontractor proposals.
• Manage lump sum/GMP/Cost Plus bids and provide cost variance reports.
• Collaborate with Procurement & Supply Chain to ensure project success.
