Job summary

Pierce County Facilities is seeking a Construction Project Manager 1 for a hybrid role, involving field, office, and remote tasks. You will support project teams, review designs, track costs, and assist with bid evaluations to ensure county standards are met and community impact is maximized.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least one year of relevant experience, plus a valid driver’s license. A background check will be conducted as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or related field, and 1+ years of related experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Knowledge of Revit drafting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Research various building program requirements; analyze and consolidate information for presentation.
• Assist other Construction Project Managers by reviewing design and construction drawings and specifications for errors, omissions, and inconsistencies and compliance with County standards.
• Develop and update databases to forecast, record, and track costs.
• Assist with reviewing bid responses and contribute to contract award recommendations.
