Job summary

Hoar Construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex construction projects from Charleston beginnings to a permanent Atlanta home office. You will manage schedule, budget, safety, and client relationships, coordinating with the Superintendent to control risk and deliver on contract requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting acumen, and experience with healthcare or large-scale facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• 5–8 years of experience in large, complex facility construction with on-site management.
• Detailed knowledge of budgeting, procurement, and scheduling processes.
• Proficiency with scheduling software (SureTrak, MS Project, P6).

Responsibilities

• Attend planning and status meetings to coordinate construction activities.
• Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and cash flow reports.
• Oversee subcontractors, contract negotiations, and change orders.
• Maintain project documentation, correspondence, and contract files.
• Lead owner-architect-contractor meetings and ensure timely reporting.
