Job summary

Hoar Construction in Atlanta, GA seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support the construction and maintenance of structures and systems. You will help organize, schedule, and implement projects, with travel up to 10% as needed.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in construction, familiarity with Procore, Viewpoint, Revit, and VICO, plus strong MS Excel/Word skills and a valid driver's license. Healthcare project experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
1–3 years of experience in the construction industry; healthcare construction experience preferred.
Proficiency with Procore, Viewpoint, Revit and VICO.
MS Excel and MS Word proficiency required.
LEED AP or DBIA credentials are a plus.
Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

Update schedule with supplied information.
Follow up and maintain timely material deliveries.
Assist in estimating and soliciting subcontractors in bidding and pricing.
Review qualifications of subcontractors and obtain final approval with Project Manager.
Maintain the Job Cost Report, ledgers and costs.
Maintain SBI report.
Prepare and issue change orders to subcontractors and vendors.
Prepare monthly pay applications and obtain lien releases.
Prepare meeting minutes for on-site meetings with subcontractors and Owner.
Prepare and monitor RFIs and maintain the RFI Log.
Receive, review, and monitor the submittal process.
Maintain current construction documents.
