Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 7 years of experience in the field of Civil engineering or Civil Construction
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate with project teams, contractors and regulators

Responsibilities

• Applies broad expertise to work with a high degree of knowledge and ability.
• Works closely with Project Managers and Construction Supervisors to understand targets and identify potential projects.
• Prepares job packages and construction estimates; conducts job walks and negotiates with bidders/contractors.
• Leads job scope discussions and reviews IFC drawings for schedule and target dates.
• Ensures safety, quality, cost and schedule goals; manages planning from inception to contract.
• Acts as field PG&E representative; ensures safety plans, permits and procedures are followed.
• Establishes planning/scheduling dates for later construction work; mentors staff at various levels.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience

7 years of experience in the field of Civil engineering or Civil Construction
