Job summary

PG&E is seeking a Construction Manager to lead underground electric construction and improvement projects. You will coordinate with project teams, oversee inspectors, and ensure work complies with design, permits, and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of experience in Industrial engineering or Construction.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of working time.
• Experience in quality control, contracts, and project planning tools (MS Project/Primavera) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction and improvement projects in the electric UG system across multiple disciplines.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Electric Operation Supervisors to meet targets and manage contracts.
• Support pre-construction activities, site visits, and change orders as needed.
• Monitor safety, quality, cost and schedule to ensure delivery per company standards.
