Job summary

Pacific Gas and Electric Company is seeking a Maintenance/Construction/Operations professional to coordinate mandated critical facilities activities across multiple Bay Area and Northern California sites. You will collaborate with gas supervisors, excavators, vendors and municipalities to plan, schedule, and report on pipeline standby tasks while upholding Gas Standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of utility experience with transmission or complex projects.
• Experience in work planning, coordination or reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and publishes resource plans and schedules.
• Ensures consistency in planning resource deployments.
• Creates and fosters a safe work environment with a strong safety commitment.
• Monitors coworker productivity and costs to optimize resources.
• Develops and implements cost-reducing work practices.
• Collaborates with peers and departments to improve processes.
• Works with IBEW leadership and members to foster partnership.
• Maintains communication with Superintendent on progress and obstacles.
• Leads meetings to review scheduling, timeframes and process improvements.
• Provides backup support to Transmission Damage Prevention Supervisors.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Economics, Accounting or Engineering, or equivalent experience

5 years of utility-related work experience including 2 years working with transmission or complex projects and 3 years performing work planning, coordination and/or reporting
