Job summary

Hodges is seeking a sharp Construction Estimator/Scheduler in Anaheim, CA for a hybrid role combining cost estimation and project scheduling across public sector projects. You will build detailed estimates, maintain schedules, and support project controls from pre-construction through completion.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years hands-on experience, familiarity with schools, healthcare facilities, and federal projects, and strong software proficiency (P6, MS Project, Procore).

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of professional construction management, estimating, and scheduling experience.
• Experience on schools, healthcare facilities, federal government and public sector buildings preferred.
• Certifications such as CPE and PSP are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive conceptual, schematic, and final cost estimates with quantity takeoffs and budget models.
• Create and maintain detailed CPM schedules; analyze logic, monitor progress and mitigate delays.
• Track budget variances, review change orders, and provide earned value and schedule updates.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and risks early in design and planning phases.
