Qualifications

• Five years in land conservation real estate project management.

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with Minnesota Outdoor Heritage Fund or public grant administration.
• Occasional travel within Minnesota and upper Midwest; reliable transportation required.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to navigate complex partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Identify, negotiate, document, and close real estate transactions with legal/finance support.
• Manage multiple land protection projects; track milestones, risks, budgets.
• Develop project pipelines with landowners, Tribes, agencies.
• Build budgets and secure financing for land acquisitions.
• Conduct due diligence with attorneys, appraisers, surveyors, consultants.
• Support fundraising and grant administration; report outcomes.
