Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum of five years in a professional environment or two years in a legal environment.
• Minimum of one year of conflicts analysis experience.
• Strong issue identification, research and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, customer service, attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to perform all functions of the conflicts process.

Responsibilities

• Performs in-depth conflicts research using internal and external databases to identify connections that may present conflicts.
• Independently manages the new business conflicts research and identification process from submission to clearance.
• Reviews requests for completeness and communicates with partners and staff to obtain missing information.
• Prepares written conflicts analyses and evaluates issues under firm policies and professional conduct rules.
• Develops working relationships across practice groups to facilitate conflict resolution.
• Drafts engagement letters and conflict waiver letters for matter opening and compliance.
• Maintains multiple pending requests with timely updates to submitting attorneys.
• Documents results in Intapp Open and other firm systems.
• Tries and responds to end-user questions regarding conflicts searches and clearance status.
• Coordinates with the CNB Senior Manager to ensure ethical screens are established when a client/matter opens.
