Job summary

Perkins Coie LLP is seeking a mid-level associate (4–6 years) to join our complex litigation group. You will defend clients in high-stakes matters of national and international significance, with emphasis on product liability and commercial matters in aviation and transportation sectors.

Open to all US offices. Successful candidates will have strong writing, comprehensive litigation experience, top academic credentials, and a client-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing skills demonstrated through clerkship, law review, moot court, or publication.
• Experience with all stages of litigation including discovery, motions, experts, and trial.
• Superior academic credentials.
• Commitment to excellent client service and client-centered practice.
• Comfort with complex legal issues such as contractual, jurisdictional, choice-of-law, and admiralty matters.
• Clerkship experience, especially at the appellate level, is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defend clients in high-stakes, complex litigation matters of national and international significance, with emphasis on product liability and commercial matters in aviation and transportation sectors.
• Manage all stages of litigation from pre-trial to trial, coordinating with experts and preparing persuasive advocacy.
• Contribute to a collaborative, mentorship-focused team environment and deliver excellent client service.
