Job summary

GEICO is seeking a Strategist for Community Affairs to advance engagement, volunteer, and partnership programs across GEICO offices. The hybrid role collaborates with ERGs, nonprofits, and internal teams to drive impact and accountability.

You will lead cross-functional projects, track participation, and present insights to leadership while supporting budget and governance activities. Chicago-based with occasional travel for events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in community affairs, volunteerism, philanthropy, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive updates.
• Ability to build relationships and influence across internal teams and external partners.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management for Community Affairs initiatives, including planning and execution.
• Partner with ERG leaders, partners, and stakeholders to enhance engagement and campaigns.
• Manage relationships with nonprofit organizations and engagement vendors.
• Maintain dashboards and reporting processes to measure outcomes and inform decisions.
