VOLIES seeks a motivated Community Engagement Project Coordinator to support corporate volunteering and community programs with a multinational tech client in Northern Virginia.

This full-time role centers on stakeholder engagement, event planning, and reporting on social impact, with occasional travel and compensation for weekend work when needed.

Strong communication, relationship-building, and project management skills are essential in an international team setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Event Management, Political Science, Communications, Public Relations or related field.
• At least 3 years in volunteerism, community engagement, social impact roles, or event management.
• Experience coordinating community events and corporate volunteering programs.
• Strong coordination, communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Background in project management and ability to work in corporate environments.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the local point of contact for in-person volunteer and community events across Northern Virginia and surrounding areas.
• Develop strong relationships with external vendors, community partners, nonprofits, and corporate volunteers.
• Plan and implement community programs aligned with client standards and project goals.
• Use newsletters, social media, blogs, and internal emails to promote employee involvement.
• Assist with planning and admin tasks for volunteer and community events.
