Job summary

Enova International is seeking a Commercial Litigation Recovery Lead to guide litigation strategy, supervise outside counsel, and align legal risk with Enova’s operational goals. You’ll drive recovery across small business portfolios, across pre- and post-charge-off lifecycles, and partner with analytics for data-driven decisions.

The role reports to the Recovery Litigation Manager and requires 3–5 years in commercial collections or related fields, with strong negotiation and communication

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial collections, creditor-side litigation, fintech, or creditor-side bankruptcy
• Working knowledge of laws governing commercial debt collection and judgment enforcement, or ability to acquire quickly
• Strong negotiation, critical thinking, and judgment; ability to weigh legal risk against business outcomes and make sound recommendations under pressure
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to set expectations with external partners and present to senior leadership

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with outside law firms and OCAs; be the primary contact for performance and escalations
• Direct outside counsel in routine and complex commercial collections litigation and collaborate on strategy
• Ensure litigation and collections activities comply with federal and state law
• Partner with Collections, Fraud, Legal, and Analytics to increase recovery across lifecycles
• Lead projects to improve processes, efficiency, and production
• Support training, coaching, and monthly/exec reporting on partner and litigation performance
