Job summary

Alera Group is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager in San Angelo, Texas. You will support risk strategy, client service excellence, and operational accuracy for a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.

Work is hybrid locally, with collaboration across the Property & Casualty team and carriers. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of experience, an active Property & Casualty license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of commercial lines account management experience
• Property & Casualty Insurance license
• Strong understanding of underwriting and coverages
• Experience in client service and relationship management
• Proficiency with agency management systems

Responsibilities

• Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance clients with day-to-day support
• Coordinate expirations with producers for renewals and new business
• Collaborate with carriers and underwriters to market, negotiate and place coverage
• Assist in marketing new and renewal business with quotations and specifications
• Provide claims assistance, policy servicing, and ongoing client support
• Prepare proposals and renewal strategies to support retention and growth
