Job summary

Univest invites you to join as a Commercial Credit Analyst, supporting underwriting efforts with analytical review of financial data. This hybrid role works with Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, and Credit Officers to assess risk and structure credit solutions.

The ideal candidate has a Finance/Accounting background and at least 3 years in commercial banking underwriting, with strong Excel and credit analysis skills. Hybrid work option and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
• Minimum 3 years’ commercial banking underwriting experience.
• Credit risk evaluation, financial statement evaluation, and succinct business writing.
• Knowledge of Commercial & Industrial, Commercial Real Estate, and Small Business Lending.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Formal commercial credit training preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products and financial spreading tools.
• NCino / Salesforce experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite commercial credit exposures ($1MM - $4MM).
• Organize financial data and analyze tax returns and statements.
• Prepare cash flow charts and confirm covenant tests.
• Assess collateral position.
• Prepare written credit risk assessments for lending teams and credit officers.
• Complete compliance and underwriting training courses.
• Maintain knowledge of industry policies.
• Adhere to Univest Code of Conduct.
