Job summary

Univest in Pennsylvania is seeking a Commercial Credit Analyst II. The role underwrites commercial exposures ranging from $1MM to $4MM and partners with Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, and Credit Officers to deliver sound credit decisions.

The position is hybrid, with potential work from Souderton, Doylestown, King of Prussia, or Lancaster offices. A bachelor’s in finance/economics and 3+ years of underwriting experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or economics. Other degrees considered with commercial lending experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ commercial banking underwriting experience.
• Knowledge of Commercial & Industrial, CRE, and Small Business Lending.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, written and oral.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial spreading tools.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite commercial credit exposures ($1MM–$4MM).
• Organize financial data and evaluate financial statements and tax returns.
• Prepare cash flow charts, covenant tests, and assess collateral position.
• Prepare written credit risk assessments for lending teams and credit officers.
