Job summary

Univest is seeking a Commercial Credit Analyst to support underwriting by analyzing financial information, preparing credit memoranda, evaluating risk, and partnering with Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, and Credit Officers to serve customers with confidence and care.

This hybrid role could work out of our regional offices in Souderton, Doylestown, King of Prussia, or Lancaster, PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics (or related field).
• Minimum 3 years’ commercial banking underwriting experience.
• Knowledge of Commercial & Industrial, Commercial Real Estate, and Small Business Lending.
• Strong organizational and written/oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial spreading tools.

Responsibilities

• Independently underwrite commercial credit exposures ($1MM - $4MM).
• Organize financial data and spread all levels of financial information.
• Prepare cash flow charts, covenant tests, and assess collateral.
• Write credit risk assessments for lending teams and credit officers.
• Complete compliance and underwriting training as assigned.
