Job summary

WesBanco, Inc. in Cincinnati is seeking a Commercial Closing Officer to manage loan closing, due diligence, and documentation for commercial loans. The role is hybrid, combining remote and office work on a formalized schedule.

You will ensure compliance with credit approvals and bank policies, coordinate with associates and outside counsel, and prepare closing documents with LaserPro and related systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree in Business Administration preferred.
• Previous office related experience required.
• Minimum of two years relevant banking experience preferred.
• Experience with commercial lending systems and loan documentation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the integrity of loan closing, due diligence, documentation, loan booking and closing files for commercial loans.
• Ensure loan structure and terms conform to credit approvals and bank policies, and that requirements to close are in place.
• Coordinate closing portfolio for Commercial loans while managing sound risk and credit practices.
• Prepare loan modification documents and closing documents per department standards (e.g., LaserPro).
• Discuss issues with manager or legal counsel to develop strategies and solutions.
