Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Typically a minimum four years of relevant claim handling experience.
• Must obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire.
• Professional designations such as CPCU are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages an inventory of moderate to high complexity and exposure commercial auto claims following company protocols.
• Investigates, evaluates, and resolves claims with adherence to quality and timeliness standards.
• Verifies coverage and reserves by reviewing policy language and coordinating with coverage counsel on complex matters.
• Gathers information through statements and documents to determine compensability and damages.
• Maintains relationships with internal and external partners to resolve claims efficiently.
• Authorizes disbursements within authority limits and negotiates settlements as needed.
• Supports expense management by timely, high-quality claim resolution.
