Job summary

Komodo Claims, Inc. in the United States seeks a Claims Specialist II to handle commercial auto claims nationwide. You will support a hybrid work model with remote duties and regular Dallas-based training, focusing on accurate, compliant claims handling for a growing client base.

You will report to a Team Leader in a 20-person US department, managing coverage investigations, liability negotiations, and claims processing while delivering exceptional customer service at scale.

Qualifications

• Active Texas adjuster license.
• Experience handling coverage, liability investigations, and bodily injury claims in auto space.
• Ability to obtain New York license within 45 days of joining.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of resolving customer concerns through effective claims handling.
• Strong collaboration skills and willingness to work in a team.
• Long-term commitment to a career in Claims with continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Coverage Investigations: Handle initial coverage investigations to identify claim exposures.
• Liability Negotiations: Conduct liability negotiations and set reserves.
• Claims Processing: Manage vehicle repairs and total losses, issue payments, assign vendors, and referrals.
• Policy Analysis: Interpret policy contracts for compliant claims handling.
• Advanced Claims Handling: Manage soft-tissue third-party injury claims.
