Job summary

Komodo Claims, Inc. is seeking a Claim Specialist II to handle and resolve commercial auto claims across the United States. You will join a supportive team and focus on delivering exceptional customer service at scale and compliant claims handling.

This role is hybrid with remote work and regular training in the Dallas office; schedule is Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will report to a Team Leader in a 20-person US department.

Qualifications

• Active Texas adjuster license required.
• Experience handling coverage, liability investigations, and bodily injury claims in auto space.
• Willingness to obtain New York insurance license within 45 days of joining.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with dynamic claim volumes.
• Proven track record of resolving customer concerns and driving satisfaction.
• Enjoy collaborating in a team and contributing to shared success.

Responsibilities

• Handle initial coverage investigations to identify claim exposures.
• Conduct liability negotiations and set appropriate reserves.
• Manage vehicle repairs, total losses, payments, referrals, and vendor assignments.
• Interpret policy contracts to ensure compliant claims handling.
• Manage soft-tissue third-party injury claims.
