Jefferson County Assessor’s Office in Golden, CO seeks a Commercial Appraiser to join the Assessor Division. The role focuses on complex real estate appraisal for ad valorem taxation, including inspecting properties and developing valuation models.

The candidate will perform market research, appraisal reporting, and assist with appeals as needed. Candidates should hold a Certified General Appraisal License or be near licensure, with at least three years of related experience, strong data

Formación

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field demonstrating ability to analyze and present information, orally and in writing.
• Experience: At least three years of work-related experience in real estate appraisal, appraisal report writing, and/or related transferable experience.
• Note an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Lead appraiser for assigned property types such as retail, multi-family, and office properties.
• Review valuation components and recommend corrections when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of market trends, costs and other factors affecting property values.
• Perform field investigations and complex commercial, industrial, and multi-family appraisals.
• Represent the Assessor's Office in appeal hearings and explain processes to stakeholders.
• Engage with taxpayers, attorneys and agents to ensure fair assessments.
