Job summary

The Ohio Attorney General's Office is seeking a Collections Supervisor for our Collections Enforcement Section in Columbus. This permanent, full-time role supports a hybrid in-person/remote schedule with HQ at 30 East Broad Street. Duties include supervising staff, monitoring performance, and coordinating with ITS on business tools.

Salary ranges from $27.00 to $31.00 per hour. Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm; exempt from union, with a strong focus on public service and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Completion of Associate's degree in Business, Accounting, or related area or equivalent work experience.
• Previous supervisory or Team Lead experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Supervises and trains assigned staff and conducts staff meetings.
• Performs monthly phone monitoring and reviews.
• Assists team members with difficult callers and accounts.
• Monitors workflow and helps with work distribution.
• Establishes procedures and performance goals.
• Prepares records and reports; coordinates with ITS for tool troubleshooting.
