Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Quality Packaging Engineer in the Dallas area to evaluate, validate, and monitor cold chain packaging solutions across the distribution network. The position is hybrid, onsite at Las Colinas with 2 days per week in the office and remote days as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in engineering, packaging science, or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in quality/packaging engineering.
• Experience with cold chain packaging, temperature-control distribution, and validated methods.
• Proficiency drafting or maintaining SOPs, work instructions, and validation records.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, qualification, validation, and deployment of packaging solutions.
• Draft and maintain controlled packaging quality documentation and validation reports.
• Provide technical support for network packaging changes and initiatives.
• Investigate packaging-related excursions and performance issues; propose CAPAs.
• Review packaging materials and data; advise on changes with regulatory alignment.
• Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure compliant and feasible packaging solutions.
