Job summary

UES is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Project Manager II to independently plan, coordinate, and manage CMT projects supporting safe, high‑quality infrastructure. You will ensure on‑time delivery within budget, mentoring junior staff and collaborating with engineers, field crews, and clients.

Responsibilities include developing scopes, coordinating resources, reviewing reports, and maintaining profitability while adhering to ASTM and AASHTO standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
• 4–7 years of construction materials testing (CMT) and inspection experience for non‑degree candidates.
• Certifications in relevant testing or inspection areas (e.g., ACI, ICC, ATTI, Nuclear Safety) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO and ability to interpret technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead CMT projects from proposal through completion with scope, schedule, budget and quality control.
• Develop estimates, scopes of work, and proposals with technical and business teams.
• Coordinate resources including field technicians and lab support to meet demands.
• Communicate with clients, address questions, and maintain relationships.
• Monitor financial performance including cost control, revenue forecasting, and profitability.
• Provide technical oversight for field and lab work ensuring compliance with standards.
• Review project reports, timesheets, and client documentation for accuracy.
