Job summary

ECS Limited in College Park is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Project Manager to lead field services projects. You’ll coordinate with senior engineers, field staff, and clients to meet deadlines and maintain quality across diverse testing programs.

This role emphasizes strong communication, budgeting, and mentoring of junior staff. You will prepare proposals, change orders, and invoices, while ensuring compliance with ASTM standards and safe field practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.
• PE or PG license in the work state.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.
• Knowledge of heavy construction safety and ASTM standards.

Responsibilities

• Support management of CMT projects, review daily reports, and train field staff.
• Manage project budgets, prepare invoices, pay applications, and assist with collections.
• Prepare proposals and change orders; attend client meetings and follow up on reports.
• Perform soil classifications and assign laboratory testing.
• Mentor junior staff and support team development.
