Job summary

COCC is hiring a System & Cloud Engineer to support reliable, secure, and well-structured technology operations across compute, storage, cloud, and platform services. You’ll participate in incident response, data center support, 24x7 on-call, disaster recovery, and cross-stack capability development, with a focus on disciplined execution through runbooks.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of hands-on infrastructure experience and familiarity with Windows/Linux administration, VMware, and cloud

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of hands on infrastructure or systems support experience.
• Entry level certifications across Microsoft, Linux, VMware, cloud, or storage preferred.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux system administration tasks.
• Familiarity with storage systems and Fibre Channel concepts.

Responsibilities

• Carry out operational tasks using documented procedures and runbooks.
• Support infrastructure changes with guidance from senior engineers.
• Monitor environments and respond to alerts to maintain system health.
• Process ServiceNow tickets including requests and incident support.
• Perform routine maintenance such as patching and access updates.
• Assist with deployment and decommission workflows.
• Support disaster recovery validation and testing.
• Maintain and enhance system documentation and runbooks.
• Troubleshoot across compute, storage, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
• Identify opportunities for simple automation enhancements.
