Job summary

COCC is seeking a Security Administrator II to protect and evolve its security infrastructure in a collaborative environment. The role involves hands-on work with Next-Gen firewalls, IDS/IPS, MFA, PKI, DLP, SASE, and WAF systems across Linux and Windows environments.

You will install configurations, support secure remote access, and contribute to security initiatives while coordinating with a diverse team and participating in an on-call rotation to maintain 24/7 protection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/IS or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 2-5 years of experience supporting security-oriented network services.
• Industry-recognized security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, SANS/GIAC GSEC, or (ISC)² SSCP.

Responsibilities

• Support secure remote access and manage Internet protections.
• Contribute to resilience of COCC's secure network and implement projects.
• Work in a fast-paced, on-call rotation ensuring systems stay secure 24/7.
