Job summary

IBM Consulting seeks a Solution Architect to shape, design and deliver secure, scalable solutions across enterprise environments. You will translate business needs into architected designs, drive governance, and guide delivery teams through the full lifecycle.

Role involves collaboration with stakeholders, engineering teams and delivery leads to ensure architectures meet strategic direction and security standards while enabling modernization and hybrid cloud initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Solution Architect in complex enterprise or transformation programs.
• Strong governance and design authority experience.
• Ability to translate requirements into scalable technical designs.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture activities from discovery through delivery.
• Produce architecture artefacts: solution designs, HLDs, option assessments, architecture decision records.
• Present proposals through governance forums and design authority processes.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions.
• Define integration patterns and API strategies across complex environments.
• Mentor engineers and junior architects; support roadmaps and technical planning.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure delivery aligns with standards.
