Job summary

Erias Ventures is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to develop core cloud architecture and integrate open-source components. The role emphasizes autonomous problem solving, Linux expertise, and strong Python or Go skills in a hybrid setup.

You will contribute to big data and cloud projects, deploy infrastructure as code, and collaborate with Architects to achieve strategic goals while spending part of the week at our San Antonio office.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Platform Engineering or Software Development experience with Python or Go
• Alternative: 3+ years with a Master’s in a related field
• High School Diploma or equivalent with 9+ years relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core architecture for software from prototype to production
• Integrate open-source code to address complex problems
• Develop and manage cloud infrastructure and automation using modern tooling
• Work with Architects to meet strategic goals in a hybrid environment
